Event Description

The Dormie is the first-ever ultra marathon in Portage County, hosted on a roughly one-square-mile loop of the UW–Stevens Point campus. This unique event blends endurance, community, and support for local athletes. 

Organized by Steps and Strides, Inc. (the nonprofit behind Walk Wisconsin and the Wonderful Water Run), proceeds directly benefit the UWSP Cross Country Team in addition to local trail systems for all to experience. With a limited field of just 100 runners, spots fill quickly — don’t miss your chance to be part of Central Wisconsin running history.
