Event Description

Race will be hosted by the Farmworker Advocacy Club from Fresno State whose mission is to create an environment where students can come and share their stories to uplift the voices of those who provide for us. Farmworkers are essential and deserve to be appreciated as such. In efforts to bring awareness to the needs of farmworkers, as a club we hold fundraisers to help purchase essential items, hold lunches, and hold events on campus and in the community as a form of outreach. The race will begin and finish at ONeil Park located on Fresno State Campus and will continue around a 3 miles parameter down Cedar, Bullard, and Chestnut. Participants will receive a t-shirt and food voucher upon registering. Water stations will be available throughout the parameters along the grapevines for participants. As this is a fundraiser, we will not have official timers, if you wish to know your time feel free to download Strava (a running app that tracks your time) and join our group.
