Event Description

Our new HYROX® DC Strength & Fitness Prep Program is designed to build the power, mobility, and durability athletes need to excel on race day. This program blends functional strength training with endurance-focused conditioning, featuring exercises such as sled pushes and pulls, lunges, kettlebell and sandbag work, rowing, ski erg intervals, wall balls, farmer carries, and core stabilization.

Built with triathletes in mind, the program reinforces movement patterns that translate directly to stronger swimming, biking, and running. Athletes develop improved posterior-chain strength, better force production, enhanced muscular endurance, and greater resilience—leading to faster transitions, more efficient movement, and reduced injury risk. 

Whether you're racing HYROX® DC or looking to elevate your multisport performance, this strength program delivers the balanced power and stamina you need to perform your best.

The program includes:

- 3 x weekly workout that can be done at home/gym with video of exercises.

- 4 Sunday meetup sessions with E2P members for race simulation practice.

- Guidance on managing training and race day prep.

Note: if you plan to participate in the HYROX® event, you should register for that separately.  Registration opens December 2 and sells out quickly.
