Event Description

Celebrate the 40th year of Springburst with the Prince George's Running Club (PGRC)! This year’s event features a 10K (6.2 miles) out-and-back course and a free one-mile fun run for kids. New for 2026, there’s also a virtual 10K option, with participants having until Sunday, April 26, 2026, to complete their run. The 10K is part of the Maryland Road Runners Club of America (MDRRCA) Grand Prix Series. Participants registered by March 27, 2026, will receive a uniquely designed race T-shirt. Late registrants aren’t guaranteed a shirt or preferred size (date subject to change per supplier). For questions, email races@pgrc.org.
