Event Description

As I have intentionally journeyed with Christ the last few years I have found myself loving myself more because of the way He loves me. Loving yourself for me has turned into a passion for the things of my creator Christ Jesus. I am living proof that He restores and makes all things new in our lives IF we let him. Joyful Journey 5K shows just how this walk with Christ is. We start off Joyful in our salvation and along the journey to the finish line we go through moments of uncertainty and wanting to quit and many other negative thoughts yet, He takes joy in those moments. The joy of Him has formed to be my strength. This has pushed me to run towards him and finish the race He sets before me. That is what has ignited my passion in stewarding my temple and what has made room for that passion of running to flourish and pour over into the Iives of others. Pillows Joyful Journey 5K was placed on my heart to encourage and remind those wherever they are in life to count it all joy because it is a journey but you must choose for it to be a joyful one!
