Event Description
On Sunday, April 12th, 2026, the 6th Annual Cassidy Otto Stomp Out Cancer 5K Run will take place at The Shops at Wiregrass. The 3.1 mile chip-timed course will start at 8:00am following a welcome ceremony at the start line. There will be a water station along the course as well as water at the start/finish. A Kid's Fun Run will follow the 5K for children 7 and under. We will celebrate our hard work with an international-themed family fun festival including activities for kids, international food, live music, and a silent auction.
Post-Race Festival
Join us for the Cassidy Otto Stomp Out Cancer 5K Festival! Following the 5K race, gather with friends and family for refreshments and food from around the world, live music, fun activities and Silent Auction featuring artwork from Cassidy's sketchbooks! Moffitt Cancer Center will be providing free head and neck and skin cancer screenings. All proceeds to benefit then Cassidy Otto Stomp Out Cancer Foundation, the Children’s Cancer Center, and Moffitt Cancer Center, as well as other local initiatives that support our mission.
Race shirts are guaranteed if registered by Friday March 27th, 2026. (After this date, they are available while supplies last!)
The Cassidy Otto Stomp Out Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization with the belief that community is stronger than cancer. Cassidy Otto is a 9-year-old from Lutz, FL who embraced life and love, but tragically lost her battle with medulloblastoma, a rare form of pediatric brain cancer, on 12/25/20.
