Event Description

To commemorate American Heart Month and promote heart-healthy behavior, South Texas Health System* Heart invites you to take part in our Heroes with Heart 5K on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 7:30AM.

This year’s run is dedicated to raising much needed funds for Goodwill!

EARLY REGISTRATION/GUARANTEED T-SHIRT DEADLINE:  1/23/2026 AT 5:00PM: $25
5K early registration fee includes T-shirt, bib and medal. T-shirt not guaranteed with late registration.

LATE REGISTRATION:
After 1/23/2026 AT 5:00PM: $35

-Age Group Awards!
Male/Female age group awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the 5K in the following age categories:
1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65+
-PARTICIPANTS MUST ABIDE BY ALL TRAFFIC LAWS

Registration is limited so register early!

Kids ages 5 to 12: $10
Seniors: 55+: $15 * Staff: $20
