Event Description

Life;Story is Centerstone’s national walk/run for suicide prevention that brings communities together in hope, healing, and solidarity. Each year, participants across Illinois, Tennessee, and Florida gather to honor loved ones, uplift those impacted by suicide, and celebrate the courage it takes to keep going. In TN the Life;Story’s start and finish lines sit just miles from the gates of Fort Campbell, KY, home to the decorated 101st Airborne Division, 5th Special Forces Group and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. The event’s mission takes on an additional unique purpose – to honor those who have worn our nation’s uniforms and fought for our freedoms while silently feeling left to battle invisible wounds of war on their own. 

This special event serves to remind our nation’s heroes and their loved ones they are never alone. This is why we include the semicolon in Life;Story symbolizing a pause—not an ending. It reflects the belief that every person’s story has more to give, more to discover, and more to live for. Whether you walk, run, volunteer, or simply show up in support, your presence offers comfort, strength, and connection to this most deserving population.
