The City of Delray Beach is gearing up for an exciting milestone in youth athletics with the inaugural Pompey Park Kids Triathlon on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Pompey Park, this community-focused event invites young athletes ages 1 to 18 to test their mettle in a safe and supportive environment. Participants will navigate a multi-sport course that includes a swim in the park’s premier pool, followed by cycling and running segments through the local grounds. It’s a fantastic opportunity for children and teens to experience the thrill of a multi-stage race while fostering a lifelong love for fitness and outdoor activity.

​To ensure a professional and competitive experience, the event will be chip-timed by Victory Sports Management, providing every athlete with accurate, real-time results as they cross the finish line. While the focus is on participation and personal achievement, the stakes remain high as awards will be presented to the top performers in various age categories.
