  Run for Honor – 5K for Freedom  
Join us for Run for Honor a 5K for Freedom, a meaningful community event where every step helps honor our nation’s heroes. This timed 5K (3.1 miles) is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, whether you’re chasing a personal best or enjoying a walk with friends and family.
All proceeds benefit the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight, helping local veterans travel to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at the memorials built in their honor.

  Sunday, September 27th
  Lincoln Park, Springfield IL
  Race Start: 9:00 AM
  Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
  Run or Walk: All paces welcome

After the race, stick around for post-race snacks, drinks, and prizes. Every finisher will receive a one-of-a-kind finisher medal, designed exclusively for this event. Top finishers in each age group will also receive an additional award medal.
Whether you’re running for fitness, walking for fun, or participating to honor those who served, Run for Honor is about community, remembrance, and moving forward together.
