Join us for the Atlanta Montford Point Marines (ATL-MPM) 5K Race, a premier event dedicated to honoring the heroic legacy of the Montford Point Marines. This Veterans Fun Run is designed to celebrate history while promoting health, fitness, and community engagement throughout the greater Atlanta area. 

Whether you are a competitive runner seeking a timed personal record or a family looking for a meaningful morning walk, this event offers a distance and pace for everyone.

We offer multiple ways to participate, with Early Bird pricing available now: 

5K Timed Run: For those looking for official results. Includes a custom bib, professional chip timing, a race t-shirt, and a finisher medal. 

 
5K Untimed Walk/Run: A relaxed way to support the cause. Includes a bib, race t-shirt, and a finisher medal. 

 
Kids Fun Run: A special event for our youngest athletes. Includes a bib and a finisher ribbon. 

 
Virtual 5K: Can’t make it to Mableton? Participate from anywhere! We will mail your race shirt and finisher medal directly to you.

The Montford Point Marines were the first African Americans to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps, breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations. By joining this race, you are helping to keep their legacy alive while supporting a healthy, active community.
