Event Description

Join us for the Color Outside with Brown School 5K Color Run — a fun, vibrant 5-kilometer race on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Central Park, Schenectady (500 Iroquois Way, Schenectady, NY).

This family-friendly event, hosted by Brown School, is open to students, parents, faculty, alumni, and our local community and offers a perfect mix of fitness, color-splash fun, and spring celebration.

Participants are welcome to run or walk the course, and walkers, strollers, and leashed dogs are welcome to join in the fun.

Along the course, volunteers will toss colored chalk powder into the air as runners pass through designated color zones. The powder is non-toxic, environmentally safe, and washable, but be prepared — you will get colorful!
