Event Description

Our family’s story is rooted in faith, obedience, and the beautiful gift of adoption. Recently, God forever changed our lives when we welcomed our daughter into our family through adoption. She is a daily reminder that family is not defined by biology, but by love and God’s perfect design. Becoming her parents has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives and has deepened our desire to care for children who need loving, permanent homes.

Throughout our first adoption journey, our community and church family were an essential part of what God was doing. We were carried by prayers, encouragement, generosity, and unwavering support. In moments of uncertainty, we were encouraged by the family of God and reminded of God’s goodness and how he has cared for us. We truly could not have walked this road alone, and we are deeply grateful for a community that reflected Christ’s love so faithfully.

Through continued prayer and discernment—we now feel God calling us to pursue adoption once again. We believe there is another child He is preparing to join our family, and we are stepping forward in faith, trusting Him. While adoption is an incredible gift, it also comes with significant financial costs, which is why we are hosting this 5K adoption fundraiser.

This 5K is about more than raising money—it is about raising awareness and glorifying God through obedience. We are excited to invite our community and church family to walk alongside us once again as we grow our family through adoption. Every step taken, every dollar given, and every prayer offered helps bring us closer to welcoming another child home.
