Event Description
The Colors of Hope Walk is a Christ-centered community event designed to bring awareness to mental health wellness while sharing the hope, peace, and healing found in Jesus.
As participants walk through vibrant color stations—each representing joy, peace, healing, strength, compassion, and hope—we are reminded that even in life’s hardest seasons, we are not alone. Through faith and community, we can walk alongside one another and point each other toward the hope found in Christ.
This event reflects our heart to create a faith-based culture where individuals facing mental health challenges feel seen, supported, and encouraged—not only through spiritual truth, but also through the professional tools and care God has provided through counseling.
All proceeds from the walk will go directly to the Surry Baptist Association Counseling Fund, helping provide access to counseling services for individuals and families who may not otherwise be able to afford it. We believe that caring for mental health is an important part of caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
The Colors of Hope Walk is sponsored by the Salem Fork Baptist Church mission team, and we warmly invite churches and community members to come together in unity, support, and compassion.
Together, we walk in hope.
Together, we bring light into the darkness.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace.” – Romans 15:13
