Event Description

Age-Handicapped 4-Miler is an annual race held every July 4th to celebrate Independence Day and the club's founding. Unlike a standard race, it features a staggered start based on age and gender, aiming to have all participants finish closer together.

The Goal: The "winner" is the first person to physically cross the finish line, regardless of their net running time.

The race uses specialized handicap tables based on national age-group records.

This event is part of the DCRRC's Bunion Derby Series; for more information/rules, visit the race series rules page.

Race Director(s):  Peter Feltman
