Event Description

The Pilibosian and Grombala families are honored to once again bring back the Mind Over Matter 5K to raise awareness and critical funds for brain cancer research. Since the event began, this race has raised over $170,000, thanks to the generosity and support of participants, donors, and sponsors in our community.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Education & Research Foundation through the Brain Tumor Fund, which was established by Michigan native Anthony Asher, MD, FACS.

Registration Fee: $40
Registration Deadline: May 1, 2026
Please select a t-shirt size when registering: XS, S, M, L, XL, or XXL
Day-of registration will be available, however: The registration fee will increase to $50 and T-shirts are not guaranteed and will be distributed based on availability.
