  Please be sure to register before the deadline if you would like to ensure that you get a shirt.

BIB PICKUP and on site registration will be available as follows:

Friday, September 18th from 3pm - 5pm at the Cape Cod Canal Chamber Office, 70 Main Street, Buzzards Bay, MA
Saturday, September 19th beginning at 8am at the Buzzards Bay Recreation Area, 90 Main Street, Buzzards Bay​
 

PARKING

All race day parking will be at the Buzzards Bay Recreation Area lot located at 90 Main Street in Buzzards Bay.  Please keep in mind that the 5K is the beginning of a full day of events and vendors will be coming in and out of the lot to set up their tents and activities for the day.  A full list of events for the day can be found on the Cape Cod Canal Regional Chamber website.

CANAL DAY INFORMATION

The Canal Day 5K is one of a day full of events that take place as part of Cape Cod Canal Day and is hosted by the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce.  Race begins at 9:15am and runs along the water on the Canal Service Road followed at 11am by food trucks, craft beer & wine, kids activities, arts & craft vendors and live entertainment.

Due to many of the Canal Day events that cannot take place in the rain, there is a rain date of 9/20/26.  If the Canal Day events are moved to the rain date, the race will also be moved to the rain date.

CHARITY INFORMATION

Proceeds from the 2026 race will benefit the Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham.
