The Official Brazilian Independence Day Celebration in the United States

On Sunday, September 6, 2026, Miami turns green and yellow. The Brazilian Day Run Expo brings together 2,000 Brazilians and friends of Brazil for a 5K run along the waterfront, celebrating September 7th with sport, music, and community.

More than a race, this is a platform to promote Brazil abroad. With institutional support from Embratur – Brazilian Tourism Board – and the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami, the event connects the Brazilian community, strengthens Brazil’s image as a destination, and creates business opportunities for brands that speak to this audience.

The Experience: 5K for all levels + Brazil Expo + Live Music + Brazilian Food + Activations featuring destinations like Rio de Janeiro, Foz do Iguaçu, and Bahia.
The Crowd: Brazilian residents, tourists, and Americans who love Brazil. Age 25–45, high purchasing power.
The Purpose: Feel Brazil, move your body, and take a piece of home with you.
