Global Running Day is June 3, 2026, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by lacing up and going just a little farther…

Choose your distance and complete it at your own pace:
1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, or 26.2

 
📅 When:
Run or walk anytime between June 1 and December 31, 2026
Celebrate on June 3—or complete your miles whenever it fits your schedule!

 
📍 Where:
Anywhere in the world 🌎
Road, trail, treadmill, track—your race, your rules.

 What is a Virtual Race?                             

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or ev en at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more! 

Each race benefits a difference charity

For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. We’ve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from races here at Virtual Run Events!  Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.
