This fall, lace up your running shoes, leash up your best friend, and join us for the Paws and Give Thanks Rescue Run 5K on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Heritage Park in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Whether you're running for a new personal record, enjoying a casual walk with friends, or making memories with your four-legged companion, this event is designed for animal lovers of all ages and abilities.

This year's event proudly benefits A Paw And A Prayer Rescue, a volunteer-run Chattanooga-area rescue dedicated to helping abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs heal, thrive, and find loving forever homes. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming efforts, they provide care and second chances to dogs throughout our community.

The rescue is always in need of supplies to care for dogs awaiting their forever homes. A donation collection area will be available at packet pickup and on race morning.

🐶 Towels and washcloths
🐶 Collars and leashes
🐶 Dog toys
🐶 Crates and kennels
🐶 Puppy pads
🐶 Cleaning supplies (paper towels, disinfecting wipes, laundry detergent)
🐶 Gift cards to pet supply stores

Every item donated helps provide comfort, care, and a second chance for dogs in need.
