Event Description

Join All Vets, nonprofit organizations, and the Henry County Sheriff's Office on 9/12/2026 at the annual Henry County 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the tragic events that took place on 9/11/2001. Together as a community, we will reflect, remember, and finish the climb. 2071 steps on the grandstand of the iconic Martinsville Speedway.

• Event Details:
  • September 12, 2026, 10 AM - Martinsville Speedway Grandstand (Turn 4 gate)
  • Early Packet Pickup: September 11, 2026, 3 PM - 5 PM - Martinsville Speedway Parking Lot (near Turn 4 gate)
  • Event Day Packet Pickup: 8 AM - 9:45 AM (Martinsville Speedway (Turn 4 gate)
• Register by August 20, 2026, to receive an event shirt. 
• Registration will remain open until event day. 
• This is an untimed event. Go at your own pace. Do all 2071 steps or as many as you can. 
• Hydration and snacks will be provided to participants.
• All proceeds go to Henry County's volunteer rescue squads and fire departments. 
• The public is welcome to attend and watch from the track. Only registered participants are allowed on the grandstand.
