Event Description

Looking for a Father’s Day Weekend 5K in Benzie County? So were we. When we couldn’t find one, we decided to host our own

What you get:

• A measured 5K route that is marked (no marshals, no official street closures)
• A clock (no official timing, just a clock)
• Some post-race refreshments (nothing fancy, just whatever we drum up...likely water, bananas and some cold beers)

What we get:

• A reason to meet people and to run a 5K (even if I haven't trained and might die)
• A chance for folks to see our new home (it's far from finished, but we are proud none-the-less)

The event is free. Parking is available on the side of the road from our home.

Come run or walk, stay for a bit, or don't....completely up to you.
