A Wine Country Run Like No Other!
Welcome to the seventh running of the Paso Robles Harvest Marathon, Half Marathon + 5K benefiting the Paso Robles High School Athletic Boosters programs. Your registration will help student athletes excel at their academics and chosen sport! We are a small event with a BIG HEART and a Boston Qualifier. Paso Robles wine country roads wind through some of the most beautiful vineyards and countryside in the nation and produce some incredible award-winning wines!! Come race with us and enjoy our Paso Robles hospitality.
The Paso Robles Harvest Marathon, Half Marathon + 5K is produced by the Paso Robles Rotary and High School employees and volunteers. We have long been committed to the development of Paso Robles youth and this race provides funding to programs that support the student athlete.
This years race takes place on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the beautiful Le Vigne Winery located in Paso Pobles on California’s scenic Central Coast. You will enjoy breathtaking views of vineyards at harvest time, rolling hills, farmland pastures, a plethora of farm animals and scenic barnyard vistas as you run the marathon, half marathon or 5K courses.
Paso Robles Harvest Marathon (More Information)
Start Time: 7:00am Time Limit: 6 hours (course closed at 1:00pm)
This scenic course winds it way through the northeastern stunning vineyards of Paso Robles. The course is on two lane paved roads in the rural countryside. Please know that our course is not closed to traffic, but we do have traffic monitors in key locations and intersections. The largest and gradual climb (300 ft.) starts at Mile 5 on Hog Canyon Road and ends at Mile 9, winding up through the hills. The remainder of the course is even or has small rolling hills until Mile 21 where there is a half mile climb up Wellsona Rd. (100 ft). After the "Paso Robles" version of "Heart Break Hill" on Wellsona, there is a downhill section followed by a short hill up Airport Road towards Buena Vista and back to a flat course to the finish. The rolling hills and elevation changes makes this a challenging but beautiful course.
Paso Robles Harvest Half Marathon (More Information)
Start Time: 8:30 a.m. l Time Limit: 3.5 Hours (Course closes at 12 p.m.)
The half marathon course follows the marathon course in the beginning. It is absolutely beautiful scenery with a few good climbs (150 ft.) starting at Mile 5 on Hog Canyon Road that ends at Mile 6 just past Pleasant Valley Elementary School. The next climb is at Mile 8-9 with a climb up Airport Rd. After a mile of gentle downhill running, there is one more challenging hill at Mile 10 and then relief with a flat course through the finish. This is a challenging but beautiful course.
Paso Robles Harvest 5K (More Information)
Start Time: 9 a.m.
Our scenic 5K is an loop through the vineyard surrounding Le Vigne Winery. The course is very flat; a great place to put down a new personal best. Because this course is not paved, it can be a little dusty, and it is susceptible to closure due to rain in which case our alternative rain course is an out and back on Buena Vista Rd.
FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is available at Le Vigne Winery along Buena Vista Rd. Make sure to arrive at least 30 to 45 minutes prior to the start of your race. Do you allow dogs or strollers?
Our course winds through the scenic roads through the vineyards of the Paso Robles Wine Country. The roads are not completely closed, so we don't allow strollers or dogs on the course. Sorry.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
You can transfer your ticket from one race to another up until MONDAY before the event. If you transfer up, there will be an additional cost. If you transfer down, there will be no refund for the price difference.
Can I update my registration information?
Absolutely. This is done through Eventbrite up until the Wednesday before the race. Click Here for Directions
What is the refund policy?
Sorry. Following running industry standard, we do not offer refunds. We know things happen so we offer an option! Up until MONDAY before the race you can:
1) You can transfer your registration to another person. This is accomplished through EventBrite. Click Here for Directions
2) Transfer your registration to next year’s race. Please email pasoroblesmarathon@gmail.com for details. Please note that we are a race organization completely organized by volunteers. While we hope and plan to continue to offer the Paso Robles Marathon, Half Marathon, + 5K for years to come, this race may be cancelled for next year. NO REFUND WOULD BE ISSUED IF THIS OCCURS.
