The Albany JCC is proud to bring back a beloved community tradition—the Bagel
Run!
Starting and finishing at the Albany JCC on Whitehall Road, the Bagel Run welcomes
runners, walkers, families, and community members of all ages. Whether you're chasing
a personal best, taking on a new distance, or simply enjoying a fun morning with family
and friends, there's an event for everyone.
More than just a race, the Bagel Run is a celebration of community, wellness, and
connection. Every registration helps strengthen the programs and services that make
the Albany JCC a vibrant resource for individuals and families throughout the Capital
Region.
Proceeds from the Bagel Run help support:
 145+ young learners in the Albany JCC Early Childhood Education Program.
 210 children and families participating in afterschool programming across three
Capital Region locations.
 Financial assistance that helps ensure access to safe, enriching summer camp
and afterschool programs for the families that need it most, regardless of
financial circumstances.
 100+ educational, cultural, wellness, and social programs for older adults that
foster lifelong learning, connection, and community.
After the race, stick around for the Bagel Bash featuring fresh bagels, refreshments,
awards, music, and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere as we celebrate together.
Bring the whole family and join us for one of the Capital Region's favorite fall traditions.
Whether you run, walk, cheer, or volunteer, you'll be part of an event that brings our
community together while making a meaningful impact for children, families, and older
adults throughout the year.

8:00 am: 5K Runners and Walkers 
8:10 am: 10K and 15K Events  
9:45 am: 1K (all ages) Kids Fun Run. Not timed.

The price for registration for all races will increase to $55 on September 11, 2026.
Run Packets
All runners will receive a Run Packet with an Official Race shirt and other race goodies. 
Pick up dates: 
Friday, September 18: 4pm-6pm
Saturday, September 19: 9am - 12pm
Sunday, September 20th: 7:00-7:30 am
*JCC Members can pick up their packets during regular JCC hours.
