🏃‍♂️ Hallie Wells MS 10th Anniversary 5K 🏁

Ten years ago, Hallie Wells Middle School opened its doors. To celebrate a decade of Mustang pride, we’re bringing Clarksburg together for a morning of fitness, community, and fun!

We always encourage our students and neighbors to stay active, and this celebratory 5K is the perfect way to move together. Whether you run, jog, or walk, every step supports our school!

The Details

• The Route: Start and finish at Hallie Wells MS, traversing through Ovid Hazen Wells Recreational Park where you'll pass the historic National Mall carousel—a local landmark our namesake, Hallie Wells, personally championed for Clarksburg.

• The Cause: All proceeds will fund vital educational resources and our massive end-of-year 10th-anniversary celebration!

• Who: Mustangs of all ages, families, neighbors, and all fitness levels are welcome!

• Awards:

  • Overall Winners: Top 3 Male and Female Finishers 

  • Student Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female Finishers in Each Group 

    • Future Mustangs: Age 10 and under

    • The Middle Schoolers: Ages 11 to 14

    • High School/Alumni: Ages 15 to 18

  • Adult Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female Finishers in Each Group 

    • Ages 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60+

• Pricing: 

  • Early Bird Entry (Before Sept 15): $25 (Adults) / $15 (Students/Kids)

  • Regular Registration (Sept 16 – Oct 15): $30 (Adults) / $20 (Students/Kids)

  • Race Day Registration: $35 (Adults) / $25 (Students/Kids)

  • Family Registration Bundle - 5 family members for $75
