Event Description

Join us for the First Annual Wilson Doughnut Run, a unique 5K event that brings our community together to honor the officers involved in the courthouse shooting while supporting a great cause.

Participants can choose their own challenge: run the 5K without doughnuts, or take on one of our doughnut challenges by eating doughnuts at the turnaround point before running back to the finish.

Choose from three doughnut challenge levels:

Mini Challenge: 12 doughnut holes
Half Challenge: 6 doughnuts
Full Challenge: 12 doughnuts
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wilson Police Department Athletic League (PAL) and its annual Shop with a Cop program, helping make a difference for local children and families.

Whether you're running for fun, competing with friends, or supporting a meaningful cause, we'd love to have you join us. Come Run, Eat, and Repeat with us on September 19, 2026! The race begins at 8:00 a.m.

Every participant who crosses the finish line will receive a commemorative finisher's medal to prove they survived the challenge!
