Event Description

I have been fighting stage 4 stomach cancer for almost 3 years and want to raise awareness in the St. George community about this deadly disease.  I believe in the motto of Hope in Every Step. It is about celebrating every step people are able to take, whether they are survivors, currently fighting, caregivers, or remembering loved ones. I also want to raise funds for an important foundation that has supported me over these past 2 years, Hope for Stomach Cancer. They support medical research, help patients and caregivers, and provide events to learn about the latest in cancer research plus give us time to meet others going through similar journeys.

We are holding the event on Nov. 7th at the Crosby Confluence Park.  It will be a trail race.  We will have a 5k run/walk as well as a 1k Hope walk and kids fun run.
