🎓 Weslaco Scholarship Foundation Scholar Stride 5K

The Weslaco Scholarship Foundation's Scholar Stride 5k is more than just a race—it's an opportunity to invest in the future of Weslaco's students. Proceeds from this event benefit the Susan Peterson Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded each year to graduating seniors in the top 15% of their class at Weslaco ISD. Every registration, sponsorship, and donation directly supports our seniors as they take the next step toward higher education. Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation makes a lasting impact on the lives of Weslaco graduates. Join us as we celebrate achievement, strengthen our community, and help create brighter futures—one mile at a time.

📅 Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026
📍 Location: Harlon Block Sports Complex, Weslaco, TX

🏃‍♂️ 5K Run: 7:15 a.m.
🚶‍♀️ 1-Mile Fun Run: 7:25 a.m.

🌅 Arrival Time: Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. for parking, stretching, and warm-up activities.

💲 Registration Fees:

🏃‍♂️ 5K Run with Race Shirt: $30
🏃‍♂️ 5K Run – No Race Shirt: $22

🚶‍♀️ 1-Mile Fun Run: $15
Ages 6–12 only

1-Mile participants will have the option to purchase a race shirt separately before the T-shirt deadline.

👕 T-Shirt Size Deadline: Nov. 21st, 2026

Remaining shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis during packet pickup while supplies last.
