Event Description

Our course, the Wahkeena Falls Trail / Larch Mt Trail loop, is the crown jewel of the Columbia River Gorge, featuring Multnomah Falls, Ecola, Wiesendanger, Fairy, and Wahkeena Falls. The 2017 Eagle Creek fire damaged the National Scenic Area from Troutdale to Cascade Locks, but a portion of our proceeds will go to restoring the Gorge trail system.

There are steep inclines, and about 3600 feet of elevation change, ranging from paved trail to medium-to-difficult technical trail on soft sod, hard-pack dirt, and rock. The home of the original Superhero Contest, the first male and female participants to finish dressed as a superhero win special prizes. There are also overall and age-group prizes. The awards ceremony includes Eric's famous tortilla soup. Space is limited to only 150 participants, so register early.
