Event Description

This is going to be a... MUD BATH! A challenging marathon and 1/2 marathon course on technical trails in Capital Forest outside of Olympia, Washington. Start and finish at the Rock Candy parking in Capital Forest. It's not worth it if you don't have to work for it. We will provide you with 26.2 of the muddiest and technical miles you've run yet!

We like to keep our races affordable. Swag is optional. Race has bountiful aid stations and finish line buffet. "Finish medals" (we get creative here, friends) to all finishers. Prizes will be awarded to the top overall 3 male/female finishers. Every runner will get cool swag at the finish!

*TRAINING GROUP INCLUDES RACE ENTRY!* Training group start on Sunday, January 7 and runs 8-weeks leading up to race day. Training group meets Tuesday nights and Sunday mornings with guidance provided for the days the group does not meet. 

Who cares?: We do! Race will benefit Friends of Capitol Forest and will support DNR building shelters at campgrounds in the forest.
