Genesis and Lawrence Triathlon Club Mock Indoor Triathlon

About This Event
Join us for an exciting mock triathlon! We're looking for athletes to help us test our course, timing systems, and support stations before race day. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or looking for a fun community experience, we'd love to have you participate. Your involvement helps ensure race day runs smoothly for everyone.
Age Divisions
- Youth: Ages 7-14 (races first)
- Adults: Ages 15+
Youth Requirements
- Must pass swim test prior to event
- Height will be checked on spin bike, minimum height 47 inches
- Parent or coach must be present during swim portion
- Parent or coach must remain on site for entire youth race
Race Schedule
Youth Division:
- Swim: 5 minutes | Transition: 10 minutes
- Bike: 10 minutes | Transition: 5 minutes (stationary bike)
- Run: 5 minutes (treadmill)
Adult Division:
- Swim: 10 minutes | Transition: 10 minutes
- Bike: 15 minutes | Transition: 5 minutes (stationary bike)
- Run: 15 minutes (treadmill)
Pack Pickup (8:00 AM)
During pack pickup, you will:
- Receive your assigned lane and heat
- Have your bike measured, minimum height 4'10"
- Receive bike fitting assistance from volunteers
- Practice on treadmills to find your correct settings
Scoring Rules
Swim: 25 yard pool. One lap equals one length down and back. If you complete more than half a lane length when time ends, that will count as one length.
Bike and Run: Your score is the total distance covered on the bike and treadmill during your time allotment. Volunteers will track and document your progress.
Final Score: Your total score is the combined distance from all three events (swim, bike, and run).
**ALL non-Genesis members will need to sign a waiver for Genesis in addition to the event waiver.
