Colleen was one of the most beautiful people you could ever know, inside and out. If she knew you, she loved you, and she made sure you knew it. For 18 years, Colleen battled MS, facing this horrible disease the same way she lived her life—with grace, courage, and a spirit that refused to give up. Even on her hardest days, she was thinking of everyone else.
Colleen touched countless lives simply by showing others what it meant to keep fighting, keep loving, and live life to the fullest every single day. "Colleen’s Holly Dash" is a run held in her memory, with all proceeds benefiting Alice Costello Elementary School in Brooklawn. This is one small way to honor Colleen’s life while giving back to the children of a community she loved. It is especially meaningful that her two beloved nieces attend Alice Costello, making this event an even more personal way to celebrate Colleen’s legacy and the love she shared with those closest to her.
