Event Description
New to the RE Events line up is the Mountain to Meadow 1/2 Marathon, 10k, and 5k at Lolo Pass on the Idaho/Montana border. These dirt road runs show off the rugged terrain of the Bitterroot mountains, but follow a runner friendly grade. Test yourself June 30th at Mountain to Meadow!
Mountain to Meadow has traditionally been a USFS event to help raise money for the Lolo Pass Visitor Center through Discover Your Northwest. Although RE Events is now hosting the race, we will still be accepting donations for Discover Your Northwest. This is a permitted event by the USFS held on the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest. Runner's Edge is an equal opportunity provider.
Schedule:
Friday: 12-3:00pm (MDT) :
-Packet pick up in The Runner's Edge basement.
Saturday (Race Day):
-9:00-9:45am (8-8:45 Pacific): Packet pick up/Race day registration
-10:00am (9 Pacific): 1/2 Marathon race start
-10:15am (9:15 Pacific): 10K race start
-10:30am (9:30 Pacific): 5k race start
-11:00am-1:00pm (10-12 Pacific): Post Race BBQ
-12:30pm (11:30 Pacific): Awards
Location:
All of the Mountain to Meadow races will start and finish in the parking lot of the Lolo Pass Visitor Center on the Idaho side of Lolo Pass at 5,233 feet.
Driving directions from Lolo:
-Head West on US Highway 12 for 38 miles. At the top of the pass the Visitor Center will be on your left.
