Event Description

A great cause, a historic venue and heroic sponsors are what makes this event truly outstanding for all participants. Running in the footsteps of some of our Texas heroes like Sam Houston, Deaf Smith, and Juan Sequin will take you back in time to the historic victory that last only 18 minutes. Everyone, including the kids who sprinted and stumbled through the 1K fun run had a great time last year and many of them shared with us how special this event was.

Event details and schedule

On race day parking is limit around the San Jacinto Monument, the earlier you come the closer you can park to the Monument. Late registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. thru 7:15 a.m.  Gates open at 6:00 a.m.

Packet pick-up starts on Thursday, March 1st at noon at the museum until 5:30 p.m.  The Museum and park closes at 6 p.m.

10K will start at 7:30 a.m. ONLY RUNNERS no walkers

5K Run will start at 7:45 a.m.  and the 5K Walk will start at 7:50 a.m.  Walkers make sure you are behind all the runners. 

1K Kids Run will start at 8:45 a.m.

PETS and STROLLERs are allowed.  Be cautious and mindful that this is a running event.
