Event Description

The 2nd Annual Eagle Run is bigger and better! We are partnering with Martin Creek Lake State Park in Tatum, TX to provide participants a beautiful running experience on the park roads and trails of this East Texas gem. And, we are excited to expand our event to include not only a 5k, but also a 10k race. Beautiful scenery, wildlife in abundance, and a State Park that provides opportunities for runners to enjoy a Spring weekend camping and enjoying lake activities along with participating in the race. If camping isn't your thing, there are good hotel options in Tatum as well. This promises to be a premier running event in the East Texas area, and we are looking forward to having you join us! Race entry fee will include the runner's park entry fee. Spectators will have to pay the regular park entrance fee. 

Event details and schedule

The course will include running on both the State Park roads and trails that are shown below on the State Park Map. Exact course routes are to be determined, and will include both 5K and 10K routes. Race entry includes State Park entry fee for racers. Spectators will have to pay a $3 entry fee. More event details will be coming soon.
