Event Description

This is Amador City's Second Annual String Bean Alley Fun Run.

Amador City is California's smallest incorporated city.  It lies in the heart of Amador County which sits in the middle of Gold Country.  The course starts in front of the historic Chicizola Building and follows along the Amador Creek taking you past the site of the County's first quartz gold crushing mine.  There is a moderate incline in the road beforeit  bends to the right around Spring Hill and takes you through the backside of uninhabited rolling foothills.  You are then brought back up to the right toward the city past historic Herbertville Mining Co and the course finishes on String Bean Alley.

Afterwards plan on refreshing yourself at our famous Andrea's Bakery or other local vendors.
