Event Description

Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is a non-profit membership organization of mothers whose aims and objectives focus on the educational, cultural, civic, health, and social endeavors of children.  With a growing, active membership dedicated to the Humble-Kingwood community has been impacting and improving communities for over 70 years by paying attention to the needs of families and the welfare of children in our community. Throughout the years, we have sponsored a variety of activities and community service projects for youth, including building a reading corner for underserved youth, supporting other community- based service organizations like Humble Area of Assistance Ministries (HAAM), Familytime Crisis & Counseling Center, Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department, Humble ISD Camp Nobis Program, Lake Houston YMCA as well as serving as mentors for local school children.   Most recently, the Humble-Kingwood chapter became an official sponsor of the YMCA Youth Adaptive Sports Complex in the Groves. This year a portion of the proceeds raised from the JJHK 5K Fun Run/Walk will benefit the (ABTA) American Brain Tumor Association to enhance Brain Tumor Awareness and Research in loving memory and honor of our beloved Jack and Jill husband, father, and friend Anthony Young.

Please help our foundation continue to be a beacon of light for our community.  For more information on Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Humble-Kingwood, please visit our website http://jackandjillhumblekingwoodchapter.com.
