Event Description
The Academy Run/Walk twists and turns through the city of La Verne. Pass by the local parks and schools while being cheered on by the La Verne community.
The Academy Run is a race for the whole family! There is a 1K for a short distance runner/walker and a 5K for more of a challenge (the course is stroller and wheelchari accessible). After your morning run or walk, enjoy a Family Festival sponsored by California American Mothers. The Family Festival includes a pancake breakfast, game booths, live music, a raffle, and much more. Each paid registration includes the Family Fun Festival.
Want more of an incentive to participate? There will be a School Distrcit Participation trophy awarded as well as Spirit Sticks awarded to the most spirited group or team at the Academy Run 5K. Gather your friends, family, clubs, schools, or other groups to show your "Academy" Spirit.

COURSE INFO:
The Academy Run/Walk 5K/1K will be at the University of La Verne (1950 3rd St. La Verne, CA). The course will be on the sidewalks in the city of La Verne. This course is designed for family participation. A healthy lifestyle is the goal, not your best race time. Encourage all participants as you raise money for CASA COLINA Children's Services.
WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring your Photo ID for packet pick-up (no packets will be given unless proper id is shown and a waiver has been singed).
Make sure you show your "Academy" Spirit by wearing your favorite school, group, or club colors and attire! The most spiritied group will receive a Spirit Stick!

PARKING:
Parking will be available at the University of La Verne as well as various lots throughout the city (please see parking map for more details). You may also park along desginated city streets.
