Event Description

BASIS Independent Silicon Valley Summer Cross Country Conditioning program’s objective is to prepare for a competitive season going into school year 2016-17. Cross country is very demanding mentally and physically. Conditioning is a very important part of the program. The program will consist of general exercise drills. There will also be drills with agility equipment, such as ladders, hurdles and cones. The most important part of the conditioning will be running. Training consists of running on different surfaces such as dirt, sidewalk, grass and hill training. Please come out and enjoy this great sport! (Conditioning locations vary and are at parks located approximately within 10 to 15-minute drive from school. Parents/guardians must provide transportation). The end time of 5:30PM for practice is approximate and is subject to change. More details on Cross Country Conditioning will be announced at a later date. Coach: Bob Staley
