Event Description
The 41st running of the Bayou City Classic 10K, Texas' oldest 10K race, will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 8AM. The 5K Fun Run/Walk will start at 8:10AM.
100% of the proceeds are donated to the Houston Parks & Recreation Department to improve our city parks and preserve our trees. This family friendly, non-profit event is organized by the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA), an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote running as a competitive sport and a healthful exercise. The race has donated over $220,000 for the Parks over the previous five years!
Both the 10K and the 5K will be chipped-timed. All finishers will receive a high quality technical race shirt with the distinctive Bayou City Classic logo.

10K/5K Fees
- Early Bird (before 1/16/18): $30
- Regular (1/17/17 to 3/01/18): $40
- Late & Packet Pick Up (after 3/01/18): $45
- Race Morning: $50. Must be registered by 7:30 AM to be eligible for awards.
