SEAL SPRINT
Coronado, CA

Race with the Navy SEALs in triathlon's birthplace.

The SEAL Sprint sprint triathlon and SuperSEAL Olympic triathlon are are held on the same day. The SuperSEAL athletes begin in earlier swim waves, followed by the SEAL Sprint athletes, and both groups race on the same course on the same day.

SEAL Sprint

The swim is an 800-meter/.5-mile swim in the Silver Strand State Beach Bay. The swim will be a calm bay swim. The water temperature will average 58 degrees. Wetsuits are recommended. The bike course will be a flat and fast 20km/12.4 -mile bike course that will consist of one loop on Hwy 75. Safety helmets are required for the bike portion of the race. The run course is an approximate 6km/3.1-mile course on a dirt trail. The run will be composed of one out-and-back loop.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Athlete Check-In times are listed on the Event Schedule. All participating athletes are required to check-in during designated times. Athletes must bring a photo I.D. and show proof of current USAT membership (if applicable). Please note that proof of membership can be shown in the form of a physical USAT membership card or a virtual/printed copy. You can download a copy of your membership card by going to www.usatriathlon.org and logging into your membership dashboard.

If athletes do not have a license or are unable to show proof of a current annual membership, they will be required to purchase a one day license of on-site ($15.00, cash only).

Before you leave Athlete Check-In, make sure you have the following items:

Race packet (bib, stickers, wristband, etc…)
Timing chip
Race bag
T-shirts
Gearbags (if applicable)
