Event Description
It's the ultimate fun run, bucket list event and genuinely unique and challenging 5K. The 9th Annual Bare Burro Nude 5K is the best nude run in Southern California. It starts at Olive Dell Nudist Resort and winds through the foothills, along trails with panoramic views, ending back at the resort swimming pool and clubhouse. It's a technical course that's roughly 50% dirt fire roads and the balance on single track dirt trails.
With up to 300 participants, there is a great mix of serious runners and fun lovers looking for a unique running experience. Top finishers are highly competitive with a number of running clubs participating. You can check out a recap of finishing times by sex and age group on the Event Website. Price includes commemorative gift, awards for top 3 finishers in each age grade, all day admission to the club with tennis, restaurant, pool and huge jacuzzi.
And there’s way more than just the 5K run! The 2nd Annual Naked Beer Mile Fun Run is on Saturday April 21 at 3pm. On Saturday there will also be a slack line, some competitions in the pool, a special dinner prepared by the restaurant, and a toga party Saturday night. So make a full weekend of it and come out on Saturday and enjoy two days of run and recreation. You can book the beer mile and camping when making your race registrations.

Event details and schedule
The festivities kick off on Saturday with all resort facilities open for swimming, hiking, tennis, a slack line, ping pong, pool, or just kicking back in a lounge chair.
Naked Beer Mile registration starts at 2 and the run is at 3. If you haven’t pre-reigstered, it will be $10 cash at check-in includes the beer (or other carbonated beverage). The restaurant will have a special meal available and ask you to let them know earlier in the day if you’re planning to buy a meal so they can prepare enough for everyone. The Toga party with a DJ is that evening so get your sheet and creativity going and come dance to a DJ and enjoy refreshments at Thirst Aid.
On Sunday, gates to the resort and registration opens at 8AM, race starts at 10:30. Carpooling is appreciated! Awards ceremony at noon with medals and Goodr Sunglasses for top finishers in all age categories. Restaurant opens at 8AM and remain open through dinner. Thirst Aid refreshment bar opens at 11.The pool and activity areas are open all afternoon and into the evening.
Bring sunscreen, a towel and a smile. Depending on weather leading up to the event the pool can be anywhere from 65 - 75 degrees, but the huge jacuzzi is always nice and hot. There is a large selection of deck chairs, regular chairs, benches and open areas for relaxing.
On Sunday, we offer a key check service so you can lock your car and leave your keys in a secure area while you run (we still haven't seen a runner with pockets).
Cameras can ONLY be used to take pictures of yourself or immediate group. No general photography is allowed. If desired, the resort can provide race photos at the finish line or of winners receiving medals.
