Mullet Man Triathlon, Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 AM.
This is our 21st Annual Mullet Man Triathlon M. Lane Gilchrist Memorial!! We donate a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
Our Triathlon is a high quality event that promises a great course, awesome volunteers, a friendly atmosphere, awards for overall and three deep plus a lot of fun!!!
Our post race celebration will take place immediately after the race. Scrumptious food and select beverages will be provided.

THE COURSE:
Back by popular demand- the 1/4 Mile Swim!!
You will begin with the swim portion for 1/4 mile in the Gulf of Mexico behind the Flora-Bama Lounge. (Wet suits are optional.)
Then transition into the bike segment happens in the Flora-Bama's East Parking Lot. Our course is moving a little bit this year. It will be 16.5 miles and will begin at the Flora-Bama headed east into FL on Perdido Key Dr. Cyclists will follow the road underneath Theo Baars Bridge and will return on River Road. Follow Perdido Key Dr. to the west into Alabama (where the same road changes names to Perdido Beach Blvd.), go under the Perdido Pass Bridge, come back east on Perdido Beach Blvd. and arrive back at the Flora-Bama.
(Bike helmets are required. Participants must walk their bikes through the transition area.)
For your last transition, the 3.9-mile run at the Flora-Bama will head west, turning around under the Perdido Pass Bridge, and finishing back at the Flora-Bama.
AWARDS:
Age Groups-
15-19 20-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44
45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65-69 70+
Divisions:
The Athena is for women weighing 145 lbs or more. Two age divisions: 39 & under and 40+.
The Clydesdale is for men weighing 200 lbs or more. Two age divisions: 39 & under and 40+.
The Super Clydesdale is for men weighing 225 lbs or more. Must "weigh-in" at packet pick-up. Two age divisions: 39 & under and 40+. Super Senior Clydesdales are age 55+.
The Fat Tire is for men and women riding a Fat Tire or Mountain Bike. Two age divisions: 39 & under and 40+.
The First Timers is for men and women first time triathletes who have never done a triathlon before. First Timers are also in age groups.
PACKET PICK UP:
Friday, April 20 from 4 PM - 7 PM under the Flora-Bama Tent.
Saturday, April 21 from 6 AM - 7 AM under the Flora-Bama Tent.
No packet pick-up after the race.
Triathlon held rain or shine. Fees are non-refundable.
