Event Description
Bring your team or family and join the West Boynton Road Runners Club as they support the Park Vista Cross Country & Track Team for the 5th annual Cobra 5k. Come and experience the sport of cross country running in our own Cobra Country neighborhood! Starting at Christa McAuliffe Middle School heading east on LeChalet Blvd to Haverhill then looping back through the beautiful neighbors of Aberdeen . There will be lots of encouragement as you approach the waterstations and refreshments at the end from our awesome sponsers when you reach the finish at Christa McAuliffe.
Bring the entire family! Kids can participate on the Kids 12 and under and have their own special fun run race! We also have a Toddler Dash for the little ones. All kids and toddlers are FREE!
Prizes will go to the top three place winners in each age category for males and females.Masters as well.
Shirts can only be guaranteed to those registered by 7/18.

New this year, we are adding a Cross Country Team Challenge to the Cobra 5k. For many of you the Cobra 5k is at the start of your Cross Country training program. The Cobra 5k is held on a flat, fast USATF certified course (Measured by Gene Witkowski) and provides a good opportunity for your team to get a baseline on their 5k speed.
Schools who register with a team of 5 or more students are eligible to compete. The overall top 3 boys and top 3 girls will win medals. These top team winners are not eligible to win medals in the individual age categories.
Student registration is only $15.00 per student. Everyone who registers by July 13 is guaranteed a dry-fit t-shirt and finishers medal. There is no extra cost for registering your school, just create your school team and have each member select your team when they register.

Driving Directions:
From 95-S exit at Hypoluxo Rd. Go west to Military Trail. Turn left (south) on Military Trail to Le Chalet and turn right (west). School will be on your left side.
From 95-N exit at Gateway Blvd. Go west to Military Trail. Turn right (north) on Military Trail to Le Chalet and turn left (west). School will be on your left side.
From the turnpike take the Boynton Beach exit. Go right (east) onto Boynton Beach Blvd to Jog Road. Take a left (north) onto Jog Road. Go past Gateway Blvd to Le Chalet and turn right (east). School will be on your right side.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENT:
6:00am - Onsite registration and packet pickup
6:45am - Warm-up exercise with OrangeTheory Fitness
6:55am - National Anthem
7:00am - 5K Race begins
7:45am - Kids Dash begins
8:15am - Toddler Dash begins
8:30am - Awards Ceremony
