Please join us for our 7th annual Run for #271 event!  The goal of the event is to help promote healthy and happy living to our local youth as well as provide a family-friendly day to the community.  In doing so, we've made it a priority to ensure that 100% of the proceeds from this event go directly to our eleven local elementary schools!!  This way we help support the youth in our community.

The Kid's Obstacle Run is a 1-3 0.3ish mile lap (depending on age) with 5 obstacles along the route.  This is only for kids 2-12 yrs (parents you can walk beside your child if they need assistance).  When you sign up, you get to choose which school receives your child's registration money!  If you have no preference, then it will be split equally among the schools.  Participants get FREE entry to the Play Pen activities and one FREE raffle ticket.

The Fun 5k is for everyone who want to walk/run 3.1 miles (without obstacles).  This is a fun 5k so there will be no timing.  However, there will be prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers.  Participants get FREE entry to the Play Pen activities, a T-Shirt and one FREE raffle ticket.

In addition to the Obstacle Run and the Fun 5k there will also be food trucks, bounce houses, lawn games, music, face painting, and so much more!!  We also will be holding a Raffle with some AMAZING prizes (tickets included with every race entry).  If you don't want to register for the race, but want your child to participate in the fun, you may buy them a Play Pass which will grant you entry to the extra activities.

This year we have added a Family Pack option.  This ticket option includes 2 Adult 5K registrations and 2 Obstacle Course registrations.   Participants get FREE entry to the Play Pen activities. The 2 5K registrations includes a T-Shirts. Get the entire family out that day to particpate!

We have also added a Obstacle Course/5K option.  This option is for 2-12 year olds who want to race in both the 5K and the Obstacle Course.  It is at a discounted rate and includes a t-shirt, FREE entry into the Play Pen and a raffle ticket. 

New this year, we are offering a Special Needs Obstacle Course.  This option is for "All Ages" with special needs.  Please note, that there will be about 1200 people in the park that day.  Participants should expect loud noises (i.e., cheering, yelling, whistles, bells, etc)  If a wheelchair will be used, we ask that you let us know so we can make accomodations.  Participants may race with a "race buddy" who can race for free (the buddy will just need to sign a waiver at packet pick up). Last year we had over 800 participants and raised $25,000!!  Our goal is to raise $30,000 this year, so please sign up today!!
