If you like eating cookies and helping kids, this is the race for you.
The 2nd annual San Francisco Tough Cookie Fun Run on Sunday, April 7, is a scenic, family-friendly 5K/1K in Golden Gate Park (start/finish at the Pioneer Log Cabin Picnic Area).
Finishers get yummy cookies from The Slanted Door restaurant, a tech running shirt and a raffle entry for a chance to win an Apple Watch.
Beat the Cookie (a.k.a. the runner dressed as a cookie) to get additional raffle entries (and bragging rights). Top 5K finishers in different age categories will get prizes.
Funds raised helps support enrichment programs, like technology, art, foreign language and music, at Holy Name School, which serves a diverse community of K-8th graders in San Francisco's Sunset district.

Parking: The Sunday road closure extends up Stow Lake Drive, so there will be no direct access to the start/finish line by vehicle.The closest vehicle access is at the Stow Lake Boathouse. You can park in this area and walk to the Pioneer Log Cabin Picnic Area a few hundred meters away.
