The Anunal Buffs4Life Family Fun run is the family event of the season!

*NEW THIS YEAR* - COME RUN AT CU -

The location of the race has moved to CU CAMPUS! A rare and unique opportunity to experience the campus, the athletic facilities and the Buff community, in the heart of it all! The Race will start & finish at Folsom Field with games, past and present athletes and coaches, prizes and pancakes!!!! 

Come out and spend a beautiful summer morning with the Buff community meeting and fans. It’s perfect for all ages and all abilities. Lots of great energy makes this event fun for the entire community…And a great cause! 

Over the past 4 years this run has raised close to $80K for Buffs families in need to offset medical bills. Over the past 10 years the Buffs4Life Foundation has raised over $500K for families in the Buff community and we remain steadfast in our mission that no Buff be left to fight alone. We strongly believe in our values and are grateful for such a giving community to be involved with. 

Event details and schedule

Date: Sunday June 24, 2018  

Time: All participants must be registered by 8:30am. We will make a few announcements starting shortly after 8:30am with some introductions and a special  race start.  We expect the race to get underway shortly before 9am. 

Location: Franklin Field and the Buffs Legacy Walk, just east of Folsom Field (2400 Colorado Ave, Boulder, CO 80302)

THe start/finish line is located at Buffs Legacy wakl between Folsom and Franklin Field 

Parking: Parking will be available in the athletic facility parking lot underneath the Champions Center. 

Packet Pickup: Packets will be available for pick up on Saturday afternoon between Noon – 4pm. LOCATION TBD - please check back closer to the event Packets will also be available for pick up at the starting line and must be accounted for by 8:30am There will be limited race day registration so if you haven’t told your friends to register yet- make sure they do by Saturday afternoon.   

Race Day Fun! We will have food, drinks and entertainment thanks to our sponsors and event team including:

• A Bounce House for the kiddos
• A dunk tank
• Facepainting 
• Music & special celebrity appearances

Raffle prizes & pre-sales of the 13th anniversary Buffs4Life Golf Ball Drop! Please remember to bring cash/check for the raffle tickets and golf ball sales with all proceeds benefiting this years award reciepient.   

Rules The only rule is to have FUN! There will be a timing clock (no chip timing). This is not an official qualifying race. There are two courses to choose from:

• 5K (3.1 mile) around CU Campus (mostly flat and very scenic)

There will be 3 waves of starters (all self-selected/regulated)

• Wave 1 – 5K running for time
• Wave 2 – 5K running for fun
• Wave 3– 5K walkers

Recognizing that some families/teams will have a mixture or participants, these waves won’t be too strictly enforced (we know kiddos like to line up at the front :)) 

Strollers, strider bikes, dogs (people friendly dogs only please - on leash) are all welcome to join in the festivities. Buff gear and/or costumes are encouraged! (Dogs will not be allowed on Franklin Field but may join the race course)
