Event Description

Come for the run, stay for the fun!!! The Dublin Lions Club is having its 17th Annual Dublin Irish Stampede 10-5-2K run.  Just like in the past, there will be prizes and fun for all.  The run will be held June 9th in conjunction with the Dublin Dairy Month celebration, so come to Dublin for a great day of FUN, FOOD AND DRINKS.

*Please note that some parts of the race occur off pavement

Registration Fees:

Early – before June 1st (t-shirt guaranteed with early registration only)

                10K/5K - $25.00 (chip timed)

                2K - $15.00

After June 1st add $5.00 to above

 

Race Day Schedule:

Registration – 6:00 am – 7:15 am

10K/5K Start – 7:30 am

 

Early Packet Pick-Up:

Friday, June 8, 2018

5:00-7:00 pm

Awards:

In the 10k top male and female overall winners receive, 1st place $100.00 plus trophy, second place M/F win $50.00 plus trophy, third place M/F win $30.00 plus trophy. There will be a Masters division in the 10k only. Masters is for age 50 and above and cash prizes will be awarded to top 3 M/F overall winners in the amounts of $100 for 1st, $50 for 2nd, and $30 for 3rd places. 4k will award cash prizes to top 3 M/F overall winners in the amounts of $50 for 1st, $25 for 2nd and $15 for 3rd places. 10k & 4k will award prizes to top 3 M/F in each age group. Age groups are under 16, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71 and older.

Proceeds will go to support the activities of the Dublin Lions Club throughout the coming year.  Just an example of a few things your Lions Club does: send physically challenged and diabetic children, at no charge, to week long Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, Ice Cream Float Party for over 450 kids at camp, and work with elementary students to reveal undetected eye problems and to provide eyeglasses to school children at no charge.
