Event Description

Medals will be issued to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in all age groups (5 year increments) for each event.
- Overall placement medals will be issued to the top 3 overall men and women.
- All participants will receive a commemorative Goleta Beach Triathlon T-shirt with their registration!
- Relay Teams welcome for Long Course Triathlon, Duathlon, and AquaBike. Must use Relay mail-in form located on our Registration page.

 

Arrival Time & Parking at Goleta Beach Park

There are approximately 500 available parking spaces at Goleta Beach Park with additional parking available 1/4 mile up Lagoon Road at the Coastal Access point or at the Airport (short term parking). Please carpool, ride in, or get dropped off if at all possible. Long Course, Duathlon, and Aquabike participants will receive aRED PARKING PASS at time of Packet Pickup which is to be displayed on dashboard BEFORE entering the Park. This RED PARKING PASS will allow you to park at the west end of the Park (turn right after crossing the entrance bridge).  All others (without a pass – including Sprint Participants & visitors) will park on the east end (turn left after crossing the entrance bridge and head toward the pier). The westend parking lot will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6-10 AM. Vehicles with REAR BIKE RACKS that wish to park on the west end must do so with the bike racks facing away from traffic (park backwards in space). Park on the pier side if you need to leave the Park before 10 AM (even if you have a RED parking pass). All participants must be at the Park no later than 6 AM to have sufficient time to setup their transition area and receive final instructions at the Mandatory Meeting (6:30 AM).

Transition Area

The Transition Area opens at 5 AM and will close at 7 AM when the first swim wave begins. Please have all your equipment in place and ready to go by 6:30 AM.

USA Triathlon (USAT) Information

This is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must show a valid USAT membership card and a photo ID at time of packet pickup, OR

Non-USAT members will need to purchase the one-day USAT card for $12. Payment can be made during online registration, using the mail-in registration form, or at time of packet pickup.
