The 21st Annual Silks & Satins 5k Run
for Special Olympics New York
July 21st , 2018 | 8:00 am| Saratoga Springs, NY Flat and Fast 5k through historic Saratoga Springs.
Special Olympics NY provides athletic training and competition to over 65,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities.  Special Olympics NY offers a statewide, three- season program that provides 4,858 competitive opportunities and experiences annually. Special Olympics uses sports as a catalyst to reveal the champion in all of us (as athletes, volunteers, coaches, spectators, fans, supporters, etc.). Special Olympics is able to remove barriers and stigmas that people with intellectual disabilities face, to share with the community the gifts and talents of people with intellectual disabilities. Everyone who comes in touch with Special Olympics is impacted in a way that helps them strive to achieve their personal best.  

This year we will once again be offering a free day pass into the track as well as a shower pass to the YMCA for the 1st 1,000 registered.
